The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
